Immigration Legislation Before House Committee As Hearing is Continued

The House Immigration Committee held a hearing yesterday on the proposed legislation for uniting separated families.

No progress was made the committee listening to a number of individuals who appeared before it, in support of the bill of Congressman Dyer of Missouri for the admission of wives of American citizens of Oriental race, including Chinese and Japanese who are now excluded. Those who appeared before the committee included Assistant Secretary of Labor Husband, Congressman Dyer, Mr. Brandt and Flornoy of the State Department.
