A Jewish delegation from a group of villages in the vicinity of Lomza arrived in Warsaw yesterday and importuned the Palestine office to arrange for the sending of a group of one hundred to Palestine.
The delegation declared that a group of 100 persons all anxious to depart for Palestine settlement had been formed. None, however, possess the necessary travelling expenses. All were willing to make the journey on foot, via the overland route, provided visas are secured for them.
The Palestine office was not able to satisfy this request.
