An impressive ceremony of renaming a Paris street “Place d’Israel”–decided recently by the Paris Municipal Council–took place yesterday.
Speakers at the ceremony included Israel’s Ambassador to France, Walter Eytan; M. Devraigne, president of the Municipal Council; Dr. Vidal Modiano, president of the CRIF, the central representative body of French Jewry; and Andre Blumel, president of the French Zionist Federation.
