Congressman Samuel Dickstein, author of the resolution which created the Congressional committee to investigate Nazi propaganda, will be principal speaker at the dinner April 23 which will climax the current drive for $10,000 for the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Service Appeal.
This announcement was made yesterday by Charles Manshel, chairman of the local drive, to which a number of leading fraternal bodies in the city have pledged their cooperation.
Efforts also are being made to have Dr. A. L. Sachar, head of the Hillel Foundations, speak at the dinner.
Representative Dickstein will be also the chief speaker tonight at the thirteenth annual dinner of Camdem B’nai B’rith Lodge at the Hotel Walt Whitman.
