In reprisal of the refusal by local German newspapers to accept Jewish advertising, the entire Jewish press of Warsaw is rejecting announcements by the German film company UFA.
Two of the company’s films were shown here Friday night before empty houses, after an appeal by the anti-Hitler committee urging the theatre owners to withdraw the UFA films had failed.
