In the most recent in a series of Soviet Jewry protest trials, 22 students from across the country were convicted Monday of illegally demonstrating in front of the Soviet Embassy. Like most of those convicted since the series of trials began last December, the students received a 15-day suspended sentence, six months unsupervised probation and a $50 fine.
