A call to Jewish groups throughout Poland “to fight energetically” for the acceptance of Jews in general cooperative handicraft shops was published in the latest issue of Folkshtimme, the only Jewish newspaper in Poland, which reached here today.

It was emphasized that “there can be no doubt that Jews in Poland are here to stay. ” and therefore their participation in the country’s cooperative efforts should not be limited to the formation of Jewish cooperatives. This would also enable Jewish repatriates from the Soviet Union to sink economic roots upon their return to Poland, it was pointed out.
