The increase in Arab propaganda in the United States was deplored today by Rabbi Irving Miller, chairman of the American Zionist Council, in a statement issued here prior to his departure for Israel to attend the meetings of the Zionist Actions Committee in Jerusalem.
The statement also condemned Egypt for her continuing war-like statements against Israel. Referring to the recent opening of the Arab Information Office in New York, the Zionist leader asserted that from this bureau “one naturally cannot expect the facts or even a semblance of truth about the Middle East.” This, he said, “makes all the more necessary the vigilance and resoluteness of the Zionist movement in the United States in directing public opinion to the truth about Israel and the Middle East.”
