Increased economic ties between Israel and Latin America were the subject of a meeting between Israel’s trade minister and Argentine officials. During a meeting with Ehud Olmert this week, Argentine Interior Minister Anibal Fernandez promised that an upcoming South American-Arab summit, to be held in Brazil, would not be a vehicle for anti-Israel rhetoric.
