President Ben Zvi received today a letter from six Indian Jews expressing regret that they had left Israel after spending some time in the Jewish State as pioneers. The letter warns other Indian Jews now living in Israel not to listen to those among them who agitate for a return to India.
The six assert that they and their families miss the health programs and other amenities of life in Israel and that they now have another view of the difficulties of pioneering life in Israel. Their children clamor for a return to the Jewish State, they write, and if they were given another opportunity to live in Israel they would gladly face the rigors of pioneer settlement.
