The Moslem Supreme Council office, which is the headquarters for the Moslem Congress, has received reports from India that a deputation of Moslems, including members of the Bengal Legislative Council, waited upon the Viceroy of India and expressed “the apprehensions of Indian Moslems concerning the Palestine question.”
Lord Willingdom is said to have promised to transmit their complaints to the British government.
A sympathy meeting was held at Bombay on the Id UI Fitr, coinciding with the Moslem political demonstrations in Palestine. It was decided to declare a blockade of Palestinian Jewish goods imported into India. Among the speakers was Abdul-Aziz Al Thalaabi, the Tunisian Moslem leader who is a familiar figure in Palestine and is now visiting India, and Maulana Shaukat All.
