The Jewish Federation of Indianapolis, which is in fact the parent organization of all Jewish community groups in the city, including the Jewish Community Center Association, Jewish Welfare Fund, Jewish Shelter House and Old Home, Jewish Family Service Society, and the Council of Jewish Women, will celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary on April 23d. The Federation has been instrumental in fostering various civic enterprises, chief among which is the setting up of the Jewish Community Credit Union.
Officers of the Federation are: G. A. Efroymson, president; Dr. Harry A. Jacobs and Samuel Mueller, vice-presidents; Eli Schloss, treasurer; Dr. R. A. Solomon, financial secretary; Rabbi Morris Feuerlicht, recording secretary, and H. Joseph Human, executive director.
