The Illustrated Weekly of India warned in its current issue today that, if Israel’s Arab neighbors carried out their threat to divert the headwaters of the Jordan River, “Israel will be forced into war with the Arab League.”
“Without Jordan’s waters, Israel cannot exist as a nation,” the weekly declared. “It seems certain that, if Arab plans for diverting the sources of the Jordan River are not an empty threat, Israel will be forced into war with the Arab League.”
