The political future of the entire western world, and especially of Europe, has been Jeopardized by the “mishandling” by the West German Government of the Egyptian crisis, the French newspaper, Combat, declared today in a front page editorial. The influential newspaper expressed the belief that the consequences of the Bonn-Cairo crisis would be felt for a long time “and will grow out of all proportion with the causes which provoked them.”
