While demands for a statement of the expected date of the issuance of the report of the Inquiry Commission were coming from all sides in the House of Commons, the “Daily Mail” learned that the report will be in the hands of Lord Passfield, Colonial Minister, by the end of February.
Replying to the questions in the House of Commons, Drummond Sheils, Under-Secretary for the Colonies, said that he had made inquiries but that he was not yet in a position to state when it would be ready. He told the House that the Commission was working very hard. It is known here that the Commission is meeting in London twice a week.
