Plans for the erection of a modern institute for the blind in Palestine in behalf of the Palestine Lighthouse of America have been completed by Commissioner Albert Sokolski, well known New York realtor and member of the Child Welfare Board, who has just returned with Mrs. Sokolski from a tour of Palestine and Europe.

Mr. Sokolski had especially commended the progressive strides in the sanitation improvements of the country and the modernization of the port of Haifa.
