A meeting between high French resistance leaders and members of the Centre a Action at de Defense des Imaigres (CADI) today decided to seek the integration of refugees and immigrants into French life.
A Alperin, president of the Jewish Unity Committee, represented the Jews at the meeting which adopted resolutions asking that refugees be given the right to become French citizens after ten years of residence and that immigrants holding identity cards be granted the same working rights with the same pay and the same social insurance protection given French citizens.
