The 10th Inter-American Conference currently meeting here went on record yesterday as supporting the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights. A resolution adopted by the Political-Juridical Committee of the conference declares:
“The Tenth Inter-American Conference reaffirms the fundamental principles and goals of the Charter of the Organization of American States, of the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the resolutions of the organization that refer to these principles and goals.”
