Inter-faith Day was marked today in Central Park by speakers and entertainers of all faiths, The mecting was dedicated to elimination of racial prejudice and creating better understanding among all faiths.
Gov. Dewey, in a proclamation read at the observances, delared that there sould be no better time than now for the members of all faiths “to join together in a concorted effort toward harmcny and better understanding.” Mayor O’Dwyer was awarded a plaque for his efforts to bring about better understanding among all religious groups.
