International Committee Merger of Two Commuting Israeli Olympic Groups

The International Olympic Committee has accepted “in principle” the application of Israel for membership in the ### but asked that the two competing Israel Olympic committees merge and become one group whose application for membership will be accepted automatically. A representative of the second Israeli group gave the International Olympic Committee ### that there would be no discrimination against Arabs or other non- Jews in participation on Israel Olympic teams.
