The British National Council for Civil Liberties announced today that an International Conference on Human Rights will be held in London on June 13-16.
The agenda of the conference will be kept within the terms of reference of the Commission for Human Rights of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and the organizers hope that the conference will help to influence the activities of the U.N. Commission.
A study of anti-Semitism will be made by a special sub-committee of the Conference. More than 80 delegates from 36 national and international organizations are expected to participate in the conference, including the C.I.O. the National Lawyers Guild of America and the Congress of American Women.
