The seventh International Congress of History of Science opened here last night. More than 100 scholars and scientists from all parts of the world are participating in the gathering which will last ten days.
The main purpose of the congress is to give scientists interested in the history of their own subjects an opportunity to exchange views on the past and the future of science. Among those attending the parley is Dr. M. Sarton, Professor of History of Science at Harvard, who is the author of a five-volume study on history of science.
