The International Council of Jewish Women concluded its triennial convention here today with the decision to move the headquarters of the organization from Montreal to London. Mrs. Alfred Rubens of London was elected president of the worldwide body, succeeding Mrs. Benjamin Robinson of Montreal.
The 100 delegates attending the conclave represented women’s groups in 17 countries in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Delegates attending the convention also attended an informal leadership training institute which dealt with such subjects as the training of service volunteers, leadership training, organizing new groups, programming and fund-raising.
