An international conference on Jewish welfare and resettlement will be held in the Paris offices of the Joint Distribution Committee, Nov. 14-19, it was announced here today.
Nearly 125 leaders will represent organizations from the United States, Canada, South Africa, South America, Australia and the major welfare organizations of Europe. The Jewish Committee in 19 European countries and the Middle East, including Cyprus, will also be represented. Chief subjects on the agenda are welfare, immigration, the new needs of children, help for communal organizations, education and culture. (In New York, it was announced by the J.D.C. office that Edward M.M. Warburg, chairman of the agency, boarded the Queen Elizabeth during the week-end for Paris to attend the parley.)
