The Fifth International Rally of Jewish youth participants in various educational activities in Israel opened here today with nearly 2, 000 in attendance. Participants included young men and women from the United States, Britain, Canada, France, Holland, Belgium, the Scandinavian countries, Switzerland, Italy, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and other countries.
One thousand of the young people are attending various summer institutes and another 600 are volunteer workers in border agricultural settlements. Speakers scheduled at the rally included Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, Dr. Nahum Goldmann, Eliahu Dobkin, and Avraham Harman.
