International Law Commission Recommends List of Punishable War Crimes to in Assebly

The International Law Commission, in a report to the United Nations General Assembly, has recommended that the following “crimes against humanity” be listed as punishable under international law, on the basis of the Nuremberg war crimes trials; “murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation and other inhuman acts done against any civilian population, or persecution on political, racial or religious grounds.”
