An “Interracial Conference” to consider specific proposals for the prevention of racial tension and outbreaks will be held here tomorrow at the Hotel Edison. The conference is being sponsored by the Council Against intolerance in America.
Following a general discussion, the meeting will divide into five panels which will take up various aspects of the racial problem. The Armed Forces, Education and Recreation, Employment, Housing and Press. Prominent educators, trade unionists and editors will participate in the discussions. Alfred L. Bernheim of the American Jewish Committee will be one of the speakers at the panel on employment.
