Investment possibilities in Israel have been greatly enhanced in the past two years, Avreham Harman, attache at the Israel Embassy in Washington, said here addressing the second annual meeting of the Canadian Palestine Trading Corporation.
Mr. Harman cited the success of recent efforts to discover industrially useful raw materials in the country. Materials such as kaolin, phosphates, feldspar and other were now being put to use, and a geological survey now in progress is very promising. Blankets, textiles, pharmaceuticals, lumber, aluminum, tires, milk powder and many other products were sold by Canada to Israel through the Canadian Palestine Trading Corporation.
