A ship that flew the Nazi swastika when she was Launched in Germany in 1937 will loave New York flying the Israel flag later this ?th, the American-Israeli Shipping Company which is purchasing the 5,100-ton Tsfon?, announced this week-end.
The vessel will sail to Haifa where she will be taken over by the Zim Navigasion Company which will put her into service as a freighter between Israel and North European ports. The vessel was purchased with funds allocated under the $100,000,000 American loan to Israel.
