Iran could be as little as three years away from developing nuclear weapons, Israel’s military chief of staff said. Addressing the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Tuesday, Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz said that unless the United Nations nuclear watchdog successfully threatens Iran with Security Council sanctions, it will begin uranium enrichment by March — a key step for making atomic arms.
