Iran rejected a U.S. court verdict that held it responsible for a terrorist bombing in Israel that killed two Americans. The U.S. court is “not qualified to study this kind of case and the verdict is completely political,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman was quoted as saying. A U.S. district court ruled that Iran must pay $327 million in damages to the families of Matthew Eisenfeld and Sara Duker, two students killed in a 1996 suicide bus bombing in Jerusalem.
