Iran reportedly arranged for Iraqi Shi’ite fighters to train with Hezbollah. The New York Times quoted senior Bush administration officials Tuesday as saying that the fighters in the Mahdi Army, loyal to the Shi’ite cleric Muktada al-Sadr, trained in Lebanon this summer during Israel’s war with Hezbollah.
