The government of Iraq is revising the lists of foreign newspapers recently banned from Iraq, Sir John Simon stated in the House of Commons yesterday.
Representations were made by the British government with the Iraq authorities in behalf of the newspapers published in Britain and Palestine. As a result of these representations the Iraq government informed the foreign office that the entry of Jewish publications from these two countries would be permitted provided they did not carry any provocative articles against Iraq.
