Two Jews have been sentenced to death by a criminal court in Bagdad on charges of having organized the bombing of the Masuda Shemtov Synagogue and of the United States Information Services offices in the Iraqi capital, according to reports from Bagdad today. The two men were identified as Joseph Albazzi and Shalom Salah.
The bombing of the synagogue occurred last January 14. Three persons were killed and a number injured. The American information office bombing occurred in March.
