An Irish society in New York has donated one thousand dollars to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. Dudley D. Sicher, president of the federation, announced this contribution yesterday by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. James A. Foley, president of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, in a letter to Mr. Sicher, stated that the contribution was one of three voted at the annual meeting of the society, the others being $1,500 to the Catholic Charities and $1,000 to the Charity Organization Society.
