The absence of anti-Semitism in Ireland was emphasized here today by Premier De Valera in the course of a conversation which he had with Rabbi M.C. Weiler, leader of South African Jewry, who is now visiting Ireland. Rabbi Weiler was accompanied on his visit to the Premier by Robert Briscoe, the only Jewish member of the Irish Parliament.

The Irish Premier displayed great interest in South African affairs and was especially interested in the position of South African Jewry. He indicated that he would like to make another visit to Israel, recalling that he visited the Jewish State several years ago in the company of Mr. Briscoe.
