Iron Guardists organized disturbances at Roman, Moldava, last night, where Jewish amateurs announced a theatrical performance.
At the hour scheduled for the curtain to rise, the Iron Guardists surrounded the theatre and prevented anyone from entering. Jews who endeavored to make their way into the theatre were beaten up with sticks and whips.
Two Jews, Joan Bayer and M. Lazar, sustained injuries.
The excitement around the theatre lasted until ten in the evening. Only then did the police arrive. The performance was abandoned.
