Irving Stone, the founder of the American Greetings Corp. and a long-standing leader of the Cleveland Jewish community, died Sunday at 90. Along with involving himself in efforts to change Jewish education in Cleveland, he served the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland as a board member, vice president and, starting in 1974, as a trustee for life. He was also active with State of Israel Bonds and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
