Isaac Gruenbaum, former member of the Polish Parliament and leader of the national minorities bloc was taken seriously ill in the midst of the election campaign.
His illness was ascribed by physicians to complete exhaustion from addressing mass meetings and gatherings.
The chances of the national minorities bloc in the forthcoming election on Sunday, March 4, were said to be very unfavorable.
