The body of Isaac R. Travis, 85, one of the Jewish pioneers of the Southwest, is being taken to Palestine where it will be buried on the Mount of Olives alongside the grave of his wife.
Memorial services were held at the pier in Exchange Place, Jersey City. Dr. Bernard Reval, president of Yeshiva College, Mr. Travis’ son-in-law, and other well-known rabbis, recited eulogies.
