Isaac Schneersohn, prominent French-Jewish leader and president of the Jewish Documentation Center in Paris, arrived here today to confer with leaders of Jewish organizations in the United States on various aspects of Jewish activities in France.
Mr. Schneersohn, who remained in France during the Nazi occupation and played an important role in the underground movement, succeeded in capturing all the Nazi files containing official correspondence on Jews, including Gestapo instructions and the reports of German military authorities. This material is now being published in Paris by the documentation center which he heads.
