Isaac Stern, noted American violinist, was hailed here last night as America’s “one-man cultural exchange ambassador” at a dinner concert attended by non-Jews and Jews alike who contributed a total of $60,000 toward Israeli cultural enterprises mapped by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. Mr. Stern appeared as soloist, with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra here.
