Anxiety over the fate of Isaac Urison, well-known Russian-Jewish leader and head of the Moscow Kehillah, is expressed in reports received here from Moscow.
Mr. Urison, who took an active part in Jewish communal affairs in Moscow and is one of the outstanding Russian jurists, was arrested by the Soviet authorities on the first night of Passover. Although no reason was given for his arrest and no trial was held, he is still held prisoner under most difficult conditions. It is reported that he is in very poor health and that if held longer, his life is in danger.
