Isaac W. Bernheim of Cincinnati and Louisville presented a sum of $25,000 to the Hebrew Union College in celebration of his eightieth birthday, Adolph S. Oko, librarian of the College, announced.
Mr. Bernheim was the donor of the library building adjoining the college which cost $50,000. His second gift completes a fund of $250,000 for a new library. The old library will be used to house the college’s historic collection.
