The Kanot Agricultural School near Gedera was today named for Sara Feder, former president of the Pioneer Women, American sister organization of the Working Women’s Council of Israel. The school was dedicated in the presence of a large number of delegates from the World Zionist Congress, tourists and students.
The cost of constructing and equipping the school has already passed the $1,000,000 mark. At present the school can accommodate 150 students, but is expected to double its registration later on. Mrs. Chaya Surchin president of the Pioneer Women, spoke at the dedication ceremonies.
