Israel Ambassador Abba Eban is leaving Washington early next week for Jerusalem for “routine consultations at the Israel Foreign Ministry on United Nations and general matters.” He will be away about two weeks, the Embassy announcement said. (A report from Tel Aviv said that the Israel ambassadors in London and Paris have also been summoned to Jerusalem for consultations.)
