Israel and Jordan resolved a water dispute that recently had raised tensions between the two countries and had spurred Amman to suggest that Israel was attempting to avoid its obligations under the two countries’ 1994 peace treaty. No specific figures were announced regarding the amount of water Israel agreed to supply Jordan under the agreement, which was worked out in meetings during the past two weeks, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported Thursday.
