Israel and Mauritania established full diplomatic ties Thursday. The Arab League nation becomes the third Arab country, after Egypt and Jordan, to agree to send ambassadors to the Jewish state. Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy said the move sends a message to other Arab states “that the time has come to shake hands.”
