Israel and the United States are withdrawing their delegations to the U.N. World Conference Against Racism under way in Durban, South Africa. The decisions come as the conference features daily criticism of Israel and after some 3,000 nongovernmental organizations signed a nonbinding declaration condemning Israel as a “racist, apartheid state.”
