Israel and Turkey signed today a new trade agreement providing for an exchange of trade totaling $32,000,000, a record figure.
Signing followed three weeks of negotiations conducted by the Israel Trade Mission at Ankara. The new pact provides for trade in several products which have not been exchanged between the two countries previously. Israel will export to Turkey mainly industrial goods and raw materials for industry and will import minerals and agricultural products.
